Artwork
Delivering quality fine art photographic artwork is our goal. If you are not happy with the artwork you purchased we will work with you to remedy your concerns. We use archival materials and methods in the artwork we sell. Metal, canvas, and acrylic prints are ready to be displayed once you receive them. Giclée prints on the fine art watercolor papers we use require professional matting and framing for display and preservation. Since we do not mat or frame our prints we cannot be responsible for damage done to artwork as a result of un-professional matting or framing. If you do run into a problem with matting and framing artwork, please contact us as we may be able to help. We can also suggest recommended matting and framing dimensions for your giclée prints. We have many years of experience framing photographs and paintings and can suggest professional framers in your local area.
Optimal presentation of your artwork depends on the tonal qualities of the image (high-key, dark, black-and-white, high luminance colors), where it will be displayed (amount of ambient light, sunlit, height), and the medium of the artwork (traditional framed print, metal print, canvas print, or acrylic print). Please let us know where and how you would like to present your artwork at the time of purchase so we can work together with you to find the best options.
All artwork purchased from In Light of Nature comes with a certificate of authenticity, presentation, and care instructions. Giclée prints on fine art paper are signed, unless there is a special request not to sign the print at the time of purchase. Canvas prints, metal, and acrylic prints are signed on the rear of the artwork.
Limited Editions
Edition numbers are given in terms of {image, media, size}, that is a given photograph edition is based on the media and size (e.g. acrylic 20 in x 30 in).
In Light of Nature is not responsible for damage that occurs from improper hanging / mounting or display of artwork. Please ensure you follow the presentation and care instructions that come with your purchase, and please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you might have. We want you to be happy and enjoy your purchase for many, many years!
