Seeing wild horses running across the open prairie in small herds triggers strong emotions of the wild west and freedom.  Each year I make a few trips out into the wide open spaces of Utah, New Mexico, and Nevada to photograph mustangs.  Their intelligence and social organization continues to amaze me.
